Streotype

"What stereotypes do people have about you? What stereotypes do you have about other people? Are stereotypes beneficial or harmful? Why do you think this?"

I think the most common streotype comes from the way people look and where they are from. For example, when I was in America, the first words kids said to me was "are you Chinese?" This, however, is a streotype, based on my physical looks. Another typical steotype is that Koreans are good at math. It does not bother me that much but sometimes streotypes have become something like racisim and bias. I also have streotypes about people, especially towards the race. "All black people are good at sports, especially basket ball." "All black people smells bad." "All Chinese are dirty." Those are the kinds of streotypes that I have and sometimes those streotypes put me in a place where it makes me hard to get to know people or make friends. Most streotypes are harmless in a sense, but sometimes streotypes put some people away and makes it hard to cooperate and unite. Some streotypes hurt people and have unpleasant tone that causes breakdown in a group of various people.
